Concluding statement on the national meeting about repression
held on Saturday the 20th of may 2006

On Saturday the 20th of may 2006 by C.P.A. Florence South has been held the National meeting against repression to draw the political outcome of the "270 Campaign" fostered by the Promoting Committee.
The meeting has been attended by 80-100 comrades belonging to different context and coming from different cities.
After an introductory and a outcoming report accounted by the Promoting Committee about the 15 months activities different reports followed one another and documents sent to the meeting have been red (the documents were set by the Basque comrades of Behatokia, the German Libertad association and about Diana Blefari, now a prisoner within the rule of the 41bis penal code whose document is an appeal against the "democratic torture and for the right to live"
Beside the description and considerations of the activities accomplished in the different places involved in the Campaign, there have been some practical proposition coming out from the speeches that we're going to summarize below meanwhile we wait for a more detailed report of the meering.
We voice solidarity to the comrade Bahar, member of the information office of DHKC currently kept in the Netherland prison (he express a critic point of view on the cruel repression towards minorites and political opposeres of the Turkish government). According to the European anti-terrorism in force law, he's political commitment is defined as terrorist. This allow the Turkish Government to ask for his extradition. We ask to everybody to express solidarity ad support to the comrade Bahar and to undersign the appeal you can find at the following address:

We voice solidarity towards the two Turkish comrades held in an Italian prison because of a provocative political inquiry for overthrown association (art. 270bis ) and on trial by the court of Perugia. We do promote a solidarity presence on the 16th of June at 9 am in front of the court of Perugia, during the next hearing, asking to all the comrades to participate.
We voice solidarity towards the comrades arrested in Milan during the antifascist manifestation on the 11th of March. They are provocatively still held in prison. We are calling for the most wide participation to the national manifestation organized on the 17th of June in Milan (will provide more information about it)
We do share the content of the appeal for the comrade Diana Blefari, and we're going to strongly undertake every action to avoid her physical and political destruction and to sustain every political and aware ness action against the 41bis (though imprisonment).
During the concluding speeches of the meeting the Promoter Committee forward some proposal up to work on in the next future:
To compile an updated edition of the political and juridical Self-defence Manual.
To compile an Arab translated edition of the Manual. The edition has to take into particular account the new immigration legislation and for this reason has to have an ad hoc elaboration.
To take into specific account and elaborate matters about the consequences that the current legislation has on the working context chiefly related to the strike law.
To make a thorough job on the developing of the repression structures and the strategies on a European scale starting from the determination process of black lists.
Those are the proposal on which we intend to develop the work we've done until now on the specific matter of the overthrown association crimes taking into account the 15 months experiences and well knowing limits and weakness
of it.
We invite the those who followed the Campaign and those interested to the just stated proposal to a new meeting on Sunday the 2nd of July 2006 at 11 am by the CPA South Florence.
