Installing D-Link DWL-G122 Linux driver from Ralinktech

I have a Wireless G USB D-Link DWL-G122 version 3.10 C1, which I am trying to install in Debian (Lenny). I got the Linux driver from http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html, and downloaded RT2501USB(RT73:RT2571W/RT2573/RT2671)...

Del resto nella distribuzione Debian di testing (Lenny), nella sezione Networking (contrib) c'è già il driver:

RT73(RT2571W) Wireless Lan Linux Driver - common files

This is a Linux device driver for Ralink RT73 a/b/g WLAN Card.

This package contains the configuration file for the driver and
the update-rt73-firmware tool which downloads the firmware image file
from http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html page.

che automaticamente raccomanda l'installazione di:

Binary firmware for rt61, rt61pci, rt73, rt73usb wireless network drivers

Sta di fatto che ho installato il driver consigliato da InfoFreeFlow (vedi ifup - Installation instructions for the Legacy rt73 module) perchè gli altri non riuscivo a farli funzionare.
